My name is DJ, and I’m just a kid from Memphis who grew up always wanting to create something. Ever since I was young, I’ve been drawn to anything creative, starting with content creation and streaming, spending countless hours making videos, building ideas, and trying to turn imagination into something real. As I got older, that passion started branching into different things like fashion, branding, and eventually custom rug making. I’ve always been the type of person who wants to try everything creatively instead of limiting myself to one lane, and over the years that mindset helped me build a following on social media and connect with people through the things I create. ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ In 2023, I started making rugs as a hobby, simply because I loved the process of creating something by hand and watching an idea come to life from nothing. What started as a fun creative outlet slowly turned into something much bigger, growing into a business and another way for me to express myself artistically. One of my favorite parts about making rugs is helping bring other people’s ideas to fruition, turning concepts, memories, or designs into something physical that they can actually keep and connect with.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ At the end of the day, everything I do comes back to passion and creativity. Whether it’s content, clothing, rugs, or any new idea I decide to chase, I strive to create things that mean something to people. More than anything, I hope my story reminds others to stay true to who they are, embrace what makes them creative, and never be afraid to pursue what they genuinely love, even if it starts small.-DJ
